About the event
We all know that it’s been a snowy winter. You’ve probably noticed wildlife, and particularly elk, in our neighborhoods, maybe more than ever. That’s because much of Eagle Ranch is within an area designated as critical winter habitat for these animals. Interacting with large animals is tempting, and sometimes hard to avoid. But these interactions can be harmful to the animals.
With wildlife in our backyards, it’s a good time for us as a community to reset and rethink how we’re interacting (or consciously not interacting) with our wild neighbors.
Join us on Tuesday, February 21st from 6:00-7:30 at the Brush Creek Pavilion to learn how we can better coexist. Spend time with experts to learn how to better share our world with wildlife, explore volunteering opportunities, and find out how you can be a part of preserving our wildlife for future generations. Snacks will be served!
